Zambia

The Republic of Zambia, located in Africa, has a long history as a mining nation.

While copper mining has been an established part of Zambia’s economy, the Zambian government has more recently pursued a diversification program to reduce the reliance on the copper industry and encourage development of the country’s rich resource base by promoting agriculture, tourism, hydro-power and mining of other minerals.
